Sound proofing

We offer a range of products that will aid with sound proofing your property. We use the Rockwool range of products which offer both sound proofing and fire proofing measures. The range of products comes in roll or batt format. The area of application will determine the product to be specified.

Areas of use:

• Under floors
  Typically we fit 150mm Rockwool roll/batt between the timber floor joists on ground and first floors is installed to help reduce acoustic noise transfer between rooms
• Stud walls
  Between dividing and stud walls a 100mm Rockwool roll/batt is installed to help reduce acoustic noise transfer between rooms
• Dividing Jack walls
  Acoustic slabs can be fitted to the Jack wall of semi-detached houses. This will greatly reduce noise transfer between properties
