Blown Fibre Insulation

Blown Attic Insulation:
Cooper Insulation can offer the option of Blown Attic Insulation. The two products we use are Rockwool and Cellulose. All products are pumped from our truck through a hose straight into your attic. This service is particularly suited for the more awkward or difficult to reach areas. We would typically use this system between floors, conservatory roofs, dormer conversions, timber frame homes etc.

Rockwool

• Rockwool is a proven insulator, non-toxic and safe to live with

Cellulose

Cellulose Fibre is manufactured from recycled newsprint which is shredded to be suitable for installation by blowing. Controlled quantities of boric acid and other inorganic fire retardants are added during the manufacturing process. The source paper in its raw state is combustible.  However, during manufacturing, cellulose insulation is treated with borates, which are a Class I fire retardant.
