Cavity wall Insulation: The advantages

Cavity wall insulation can be carried out in most houses build from 1930 onwards. A cavity wall consists of two 4” walls built side by side with a cavity between, held together by wall ties. We can pump these cavities with high density bonded bead. Properties built from the 1980’s on would regularly have had insulation boards fitted. The remaining cavity can be pumped with bead to top this up. The video opposite demonstrates this process.
