This website is owned and operated by Cooper Insulation Ltd with registered address at Carlanstown, Kells, Co. Meath. By using our website, which includes access through other digital platforms such as our app, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions of Service (“terms”) as binding upon you, including additional terms and conditions and policies/statements referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink, and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website.
How Cooper Insulation Works with our Customers
Hours of Work:
- Cooper Insulation office is open Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 5.30 pm, Friday, 9 am – 5.00 pm
Contacting Cooper Insulation Ltd:
- Cooper Insulation respects that everyone uses different platforms and works different hours. Cooper Insulation will review all emails twice a day and respond to any queries within 24/48 hours Monday to Friday. Any correspondence received through mobile and other platforms will be acknowledged and responded to within 24/48 hours.
Storing Personal Data
Cooper Insulation respects confidentiality, transparency, and privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Statement located on our website for additional information.
Request for Quotation
Any quotation given by us shall not constitute an offer from us and is only valid for a period of 1 month from its last date of issue.
Contract and Payment Terms
When you order services from us, the terms in force at the time of your order will apply as the contract of sale between you and us. Once complete this is the terms in force and will apply as the contract of sale between the Customer and Cooper Insulation Ltd.
In most cases the pay arrangement is “Pay on the Day” this is payment on receipt of an invoice however for some of the bigger projects the Customer agrees to pay a 50% deposit based on the specific customer terms agreement. The balance of 50% is payable once the works have been completed and the final invoice is issued.
Late Payment
If the Customer fails to make any payment within 31 days of the invoice becoming due one of the below may be actioned:
- Cooper Insulation shall be entitled to charge interest at the rate of the European Central Bank (ECB) main refinancing rate plus 8 percentage points.
- Cooper Insulation Ltd shall be entitled to remove all work carried out as part of the order and suspend all services until payment has been received in full.
Cooper Insulation Ltd retains ownership of any goods supplied until full payment has been received
Credit
In some specific cases, Cooper Insulation may extend credit terms but makes no guarantee of providing credit to any customer. In the event of being offered a credit facility, and if the Customer fails to make any payment within 31 days of it becoming due, Cooper Insulation shall be entitled to charge interest at the rate of the European Central Bank (ECB) main refinancing rate plus 8 percentage points.
Cancellation Policy & Refunds
Cooper Insulation Ltd can only work with a customer if the relationship is open, transparent, and reciprocal and in these circumstances, we make every effort to accept cancellations when notified timely and works have not started:
- Cancellation by Customer, no works started:
- If the customer cancels after paying a deposit but before any work has started, only a partial refund will be issued. This is due to costs already incurred.
- Cancellation by Us:
- We reserve the right to cancel the agreed date/dates works are due to start and be completed by us, due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, staff unavailability, or other factors beyond our control.
- If we cannot start works on agreed date/dates, you will be notified via email/phone providing you with date options to reschedule. If none are acceptable you may cancel, and you will be refunded for any deposit paid.

- Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 5 business days from the date of cancellation.
If customer requests to cancel works that are in progress, we will make every effort to ensure the lines of communication between all parties are open so the works can be fully completed.
If this fails and it is agreed to terminate the contract, then 30 days’ notice from either party is the minimal amount of time required to close off all outstanding work. Detailed invoices will be produced to cover all work completed to date and any amount due/receivable, will be payable by customer/refunded to the customer within 14 days.
Protection of Intellectual Property
You agree that all materials, products, and services provided on this website are the property of Cooper Insulation Ltd.
- a) All text, graphics, user interfaces, visual interfaces, photographs, trademarks, logos, sounds, music, artwork, and computer code (collectively, “content”), including but not limited to the design, structure, selection, coordination, expression, “look and feel” and arrangement of such content, contained on the website is owned, controlled, or licensed by or to Cooper Insulation Ltd.
- b) Except as expressly provided in these Terms, no part of the Site and no content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, or distributed in any way (including “mirroring”) to any other computer, server, website or other medium for publication, distribution or for any commercial enterprise without Cooper Insulation Ltd express prior written consent.
Legal Advice
Cooper Insulation Ltd reserves the right to consult with their legal advisors in all cases of Court orders for access to personal records and/or all other information requests.
Indemnification, Liability, And Limitation
The express terms and conditions of these terms shall apply in place of all warranties, conditions, terms, representations, statements, undertakings and obligations whether expressed or implied by statute, common law, custom, usage or otherwise, all of which are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Insofar as it is lawful to do so, we do not accept liability of any description including liability for negligence or any damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the viewing, use or performance of this website or its contents. In the event that you reproduce, display, transmit, distribute or otherwise exploit the structure, information, material, or any portion thereof, in any manner not authorised by us, or if you otherwise infringe any intellectual property rights relating to the structure, information, photographs, prints or this website, you unconditionally and irrevocably agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified from and against any and all losses, expenses, costs or damages, including reasonable lawyers’ fees, incurred by you or others as a result of unauthorised use of the above and/or your breach of these terms.
You unconditionally and irrevocably agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified from and against all and any losses, costs, claims, liabilities, damages, demands and expenses suffered or incurred by us and arising from any claim brought by any third party against us howsoever arising from or in connection with: these terms; the supply of the services and/or digital goods pursuant to the terms; your use of the services and/or digital goods; or your fraud or negligence.
For the avoidance of doubt, we will under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with these terms for any loss of profits, goodwill, sales, business, or revenue; loss or corruption of data, information or software; loss of business opportunity or anticipated savings; or any indirect or consequential loss. Without prejudice to other clauses in these terms, our total liability arising under or in connection with these terms, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or restitution, or for breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation, or otherwise, shall in all circumstances be limited to the purchase price paid for the relevant services that is/are the subject of a claim.
