While it is straight forward to insulate a new build, existing buildings are a little more difficult. We offer a complete package on existing buildings from basic attic top ups to stripping, re-insulating and replastering non accessible areas. High- density fibre roll is highly recommended for warm roof applications due to the thermal mass, acoustic insulation, and moisture buffering properties. More detail regarding the specification of high density fibre insulation, can be found in the Technical Library.
Roofs
High density fibre insulation is commonly used in warm/ dormer roofs, where the insulation is layered along the roof rafters. High density fibre roll can be installed in a flat or pitched roof. This method maximises thermal performance and reduces heat loss. Careful consideration is given to facilitate proper installation which requires ventilation and vapour control layers to prevent accumulation of moisture.
Warm roofs in existing buildings can be upgraded, and new builds can be provided for with high density insulation, and spray foam.
