Internal Dry Lining

Internal dry lining can be carried out in every house. This process involves fixing an insulated slab on the external perimeter of the house. Usually the walls will have fixtures on them which are taken off and refitted by our operatives. The walls are always left skimmed and ready for painting.

Almost any U Value can be met by applying this method as different depths can be applied onto the wall assuming there is adequate space internally to accomodate the board.

This process can be repeated for a ceiling space also. The same method applies here, however the joist or rafter is stripped of the existing plaster board and insulation is applied between the joists to increase the insulation value at ceiling level.

Once all walls are being insulated, the homeowner is entitled to a grant from SEAI to help fund the cost of the works. See grants page to see which grant is suitable for your home.
